I had punished a guitar for years but never really 'learnt' how to play it. I went along full of bad habits and self consciousness and Henry demonstrated a reassuring warmth and a near Olympian patience. Lessons are fun but focused and geared toward what I want to play. He is a good teacher.
Thanks for the truly inspirational lessons, your support, encouragement and patience are much appreciated. I'm really enjoying playing the guitar again. Dan you're definitely the man!
After 15 years of playing without lessons, I was impressed with a friend who had just started lessons with Henry. He was learning very quickly and always excited with what he was learning. My lessons have been really helpful. They've helped me fix bad habits, made my playing a lot better by learning simple tricks and methods and got me interested in loads of new styles I never thought I'd manage.
Dan has put up with my fumbling attempts to play guitar better for two years now and finally (after attempting to teach myself for 20 years previously) I am not embarrassed to play in front of other people. He is very patient and unflappable. I enjoy my lessons tremendously and can't recommend the whole school enough!
