In this lesson James takes the starting point as the major scale position that you learnt in the last lesson. Using this pattern of notes, James shows some simple licks with which you can experiment with making a major scale solo.
Learn the licks one by one and after they are under your fingers, try to experiment with them in the ways that James suggests, using the backing track available below the video on this page.
