Beginning Rhythm Guitar

Learn some chords and rhythms

In this section you will start to play some more complex chords and 'chord progressions'. A chord progression is really just a series of chords, played in a specific order. You will learn about the easiest way to make changes between chords so that your chord changing sounds smooth and your rhythms aren't interrupted. Once you've got the hang of this, you'll move on to look at some more complex rhythms and how to use the plectrum to 'alternate pick' through chord arpeggios.
